Button to move to McLaren?

Jenson Button, the 2009 F1 world champion, has been linked with McLaren for 2010 session by various U.K. newspapers. There are rumours in the U.K. media about transfer of Button to McLaren due to payment differences between Button and the Brawn GP team.

It has been rumoured that Jenson Button is demanding £6m wage and it is believed to be the biggest roadblock between Jenson and Brawn team to continue their partnership.Vodafone-backed McLaren could easily afford the Brit to drive alongside Hamilton, who is on £15m a year.

McLaren's Martin Whitmarsh added the fire by saying that they are still in touch with Button for a possible deal,he said:

"We've talked to a number of drivers. It wouldn't be appropriate to say more than that. We'll hire the two best drivers available to us as we always have."
Kimi Raikkonen, who is being replaced at Ferrari next season by Fernando Alonso, had been expected to join McLaren.
