If you thought that the current F1 season is all over, then you are advised to think again. Although Jenson Button was crowned the World Formula One Champion for 2009, a much deserved victory welcomed by the vast majority of British F1 fans, there is still much to play for in the final days of what has turned out to be one of the most exciting F1 seasons for many years.
With Sebastian Vettel on 74 championship points and Rubens Barrichello on 72, there is very little to choose between them. As 10 points go to the winner, and 8 points to number 2 (with 7 to number three and so on with one point going to number 9) there are many possible combinations of places that could result in one or the other ending up with most points. If the point score is a tie, then the championship will be decided by the number of race wins: so far Barrichello has one win and Vettel has two.
So,we have a finale before the 2009 F1 season's curtains goes down.Who will be crowned as the runner-up for 2009 season? Have your say in comments below.
